WHO doesn’t love checkers, so here is a fast, fun and easy project with a variety of colors and two options. Could be a great wall-hanging or table topper. If you study the quilt photos, you’ll see that once you make the 16 four-patch units,you just join in rows and you have a great little checkerboard. You can use buttons for checkers, embellish the outside with yo-yos – so many choices. You could always add your own fabrics if you wanted corner-stones or make another 4-patch for the corners. - ENJOY

- 64 pre-cut 2 ½” squares
- 1/8 yd border ( cut 1 ½)
- ½ yd border (cut up to 6” wide)
Piece 16 four-patch units the same. Join in 4 rows of four units per row. Add borders – embellish as desired
